About East Renfrewshire Highland Games
The first National Highland Games of the season and this year, it will be a cracker! Taking place at Rouken Glen Park on Saturday 20 April, expect a day of real traditional Scottish entertainment and it is free!
Activities starting at 11.00 am and full games start at midday with competitive caber tossing, hammer throwing, weight over bar.
Last year, the Highland Games at Rouken Glen Park attracted crowds of around 15,000, with lots of families enjoying all the atmosphere of the games, plus all of the children's activities and entertainment on what was a beautiful sunny day!
Fingers crossed that we will all require factor 15 and the sun will shine on another fantastic Highland Games event.
