About feastRen Food and Drink Festival Weekend 2013
feastRen Food and Drink Festival celebrates its fifth year with a move to Rouken Glen Park.
Festival organisers are building a beautiful bespoke food festival village down in front of the pavilion for the feastRen Festival Weekend that will run over the weekend Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September.
There are three sessions over the festival weekend - all will have an individual focus but will contain the same great opportunities of great food & drink, live chefs, demonstrations, music and entertainment:
Session 1: Saturday 21 September 12 – 4pm
Great Giffnock Bake Off - Cakes
Session 2: Saturday 21 September 6 – 10pm
Fish & Game - The Big Chill with Ready Steady Cook
Session 3: Sunday 22 September 12 – 4pm
Healthy eating & the best of herbs

Tickets cover one 4 hour session
Superstar Chef Jacqueline O'Donnell will be hosting this year's festival and encouraging lots of shenanigans with our camp chef, Tom McShane, River City star Libby McArthur and friends.
Top Chefs demos include, John Quiglry, Ryan James, Seumas McInnes, Guy Cowan and Iain Brown.
There will be champagne, cocktails, whisky tasting and lots of delicious food.
The weekend will be packed with multiple activities for kids of all ages and lots to explore. The emphasis is on entertainment with live music, live demos and livestock, chef competitions, scrumptious cuisine, storytellers, street entertainment, street food from Scoop and Babu, a producers' market, arts and craft market, fine wine, BBQ, curries, Italian food and beer.
