About Whitelee Rangers Bat Walk
Bats are the stealth fighters of the night skies, silently and acroBATically hunting moths and other bugs that try to stay alive during a night time battle of wits.
The countryside rangers at Whitelee Wind Farm are holding a free bat walk on Friday 10 August between 8.30pm—10pm.
They will be on hand to pass on their knowledge of bats and moths and you will have a chance to see the beasties and to hear them in their environment.
Listen to the feeding rasps of bats, see moths up close and learn about the tricks they use to evade getting munched.
