The 4.5 mile event has a little bit of everything: road, path, trail, and of course a splattering of mud. The event starts from the Neilston Show field in Scotland's 6th highest village, and circles the iconic Neilston Pad. This is primarily a trail race featuring a decent climb, with a short linking section on public roads. Runners of all ability are welcome, - it’s a race for some and a run for others! We plan to use the usual route, though this may be changed if forestry work is being carried out. Entry to Neilston Show is included so why not make a day of it and enjoy the Show once you pass the finish line?
Basic changing facilities are available for runners and bags can be left in the race tent (though it’s advisable not to leave anything valuable). Parts of the course will be muddy so you are strongly advised to wear off-road shoes.
Entrants for the run must be 16 years of age or over.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
