About Litter Pick Up

I have now organised the first of my litter collections and am now calling on any interested residents to get in touch with me if you want to help out.

You can message me through social media and I will add you to the list of people attending.

The first litter pickup will be in Busby and will run from 10am-12pm on Saturday 6th of January. Further collections will take place in Clarkston, Stamperland, Overlee, Netherlee & Williamwood.

Please meet at the Duff Hall Car Park directly across the road from The Cartvale Pub. Bags, litter pickers and high visibility vests will be provided for all who wish to participate.

My plan is to have similar collections every two weeks throughout the year throughout the ward. There are plenty of areas requiring attention.

Children are also encouraged to attend but please bring a parent or guardian.

Litter collections are happening all across the country by an army of community volunteers wanting to make a huge difference in their immediate communities. Join us to improve our own area within ward 4. I am committed to this 100% and believe that we can make a huge difference to our area.

Many thanks to anybody who wishes to help out. It would be gratefully appreciated. Get involved!

Thanks!

David
