About Sip & Knit

Sip & Knit is the fortnightly Knitting Club bringing all things woolly to Glasgow's Southside. Running every 2nd Thursday, Sip & Knit resides in Clark & Sons.

Knitting Clubs are currently enjoying a revival, as the scene which started in New York has now spread across most of Europe. Clark & Sons is a perfect venue for giving the knitting club a home - a light and spacious local restaurant with a large comfy bar area with sofas and small tables. A knitting club is another way of bringing the local community together and is an extension of the service Clark & Sons are already offering the local community. Having Sip & Knit at Clark & Sons means people on the Southside can come along for a relaxed night out and its not too far from home.

Running 7-9.30pm every second Thursday, Clarks are keen to welcome along knitters and crotchetiers of all ages and abilities.

Come and learn to cast on for the first time, or learn how to “turn a heel”. Share your skills and stories, over the clicking of needles at Clark & Sons and enjoy meeting other knitters over a chilled glass of pinot or your favourite tipple.
