Clann Gàidhlig was established in March 2004 to promote and develop the Gaelic language and culture in the areas covered by the local authorities of East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde and Renfrewshire.

The primary objective is to provide a voice for those in the local area who have an interest in the language and to offer opportunities for them to meet in a social context to further their knowledge and interest.

The group organises many social events throughout the year, including céilidhs / dances, Bardic suppers, talks, quiz nights, Gaelic learning days and much more !!

Membership of the group is open to anyone with an interest in Gaelic language, music and culture and costs £5 p.a.(free for under-18s)
