Mill Run Mountain Bike Course
About Mill Run Mountain Bike Course
||Mill Run Aurs Glen, Barrhead G78
'Mill Run' is the first bike trail of its kind to be built in an area where people live - making it accessible to all.
Located at Aurs Glen in Barrhead, Mill Run is an 800 metres long course. It is inspired by the natural landscape of the glen, using the slopes and trees to create a course that has a natural flow down a course of bumps, bends and twists to keep it interesting, but not too steep or too fast for younger riders, families or less experienced cyclists. Over time the trail will blend into its surroundings and feel even more natural.
The trail is free to use and open all year. Riders are advised to wear a helmet.
The trail is in Jerry Park in Auchenback, Barrhead, G78 2SG. The start is just off Springfield Road next to St Luke's High School. Google coordinates 55.789032,-4.38789
