The Granary was historically a hub for tram cars until 1962. Our walls are still adorned with the metal rosettes that carried the electric cables that powered the trams. Nearby is Queen's Park, the oldest park on the south side of the city, and the imposing Langside Halls. The halls were originally built in 1847 in Queen Street as The National Bank of Scotland and later moved to their present site stone by stone.
The Granary is one of many rare gems in the Mitchell & Butlers collection of great British pubs, reputed for their distinctive buildings, intriguing history and vibrant atmosphere.
Since its inception in 1990, King Tut's Wah Wah Hut has been at the forefront of the Scottish live music scene and continues to be one of the most celebrated venues in the world.
