YogaBellies for Pregnancy sessions are unique, revolutionary prenatal yoga classes for pregnant women. We use traditional yoga postures (asana), adpated and beneficial for pregnancy and the common ailments associated with pregnancy, along with an especially created combination of self-hypnosis and yoga nidra (deep relaxation), as well as breathing techniques for pregnancy and birth (pranayama.)
YogaBellies pre natal yoga classes are gentle and safe for all women, whether new to Yoga or with years of practice. Each class lasts 1hr 15 minutes and each week focuses on a different aspect of pregnancy and birth. This is more than just a yoga class, but also training in deep relaxation and preparation for birth and motherhood.
We practise yoga postures suitable for pregnancy and birth, adjusted for each trimester; invaluable breathing techniques for pregnancy and labour and also relaxation and meditation techniques that mum can also use once baby arrives. This class also helps you prepare for birth and is so much more than just physical stretching.

The body undergoes huge change during pregnancy and childbirth.
Postnatal yoga focuses on bringing structural integrity back to your body, helping to realign the spine and pelvis. Common problems such as back pain are relieved, and you will also learn breath awareness and relaxation techniques, which help to increase energy levels.
Yoga provides a wonderful resource for you and your baby that allows you to deal positively with stress, and encourage mindful relaxation in your role as a mother and to help gently tone the body back to its former glory :)

Our unique YogaBellies for Mum & Baby sessions incorporate traditional yoga asanas (postures) adapted for post partum mum and baby; unique YogaBellies touch therapies using our gorgeous own brand products for mother and baby or beautiful songs, games and positive life building experiences for your baby.
YogaBellies classes are entirely unique and our class formula means that 86% of our class attendees have never set foot in a yoga class before. We make sure our classes are non-scary, non-threatening, welcoming and open to all levels of practitioner. Standard yoga classes attract those who already practice these techniques: we believe that yoga is accessible to everyone.
