Neilston Community Repair win award for excellence

Neilston Community Repair have been awarded the Volunteer Friendly Award for excellence in Volunteer Management Practice.

Neilston Community Repair consists entirely of volunteers who work to improve the lives of vulnerable residents in the community, through their provision of a free/affordable odd-job and gardening service, while providing volunteer opportunities for local residents of all ages and abilities.

Matt Marshall, Chairperson of Neilston Community Repair said: "We are delighted to receive the Volunteer Friendly Award which recognises the hard work and commitment of all of our volunteers and the difference they make to the local residents in our community."
