Early Years Festival makes a return
The popular Early Years Festival at Eastwood Park Theatre is selling out fast.
A whole week, from Sunday 1 July - Saturday 8 July, dedicated to families, bursting with events, in our pools, in our libraries and in our sport centres as well as a fantastic line up shows and workshops in the theatre.
Communities Convener, Councillor Mary Montague says, "With buggy parks at all participating venues, the only thing than mums and dads need concern themselves with is whether there are still tickets for all the activities."
Last year, the first Early Years Festival was such a sell out success, this year looks set to be the same. Big hits are Hairy McLairy, The Magic Porridge Pot, Pop in and Play and Story Hour.
Barrhead will see the World's Biggest Bookbug, Family Drama Workshops plus Goldilocks and The Giant Turnip, Ballet 4 Babies and The Cardboard Box Storytellers.
Popular picture book author Chae Strathie, will be entertaining 3 - 5 year olds and their adults in Giffnock and Barrhead Library with a few of his well known books including Loon on the Moon.
Rounding off the week with Bookbug in the Pool and a Teddy Bears Picnic.
Mums and dads - be prepared for happy kids.
