About Druids of Caledon’s Public Festival of the Spring Equinox - CANCELLED

Sorry to say but due to the coronavirus, we have decided to call off next weeks Equinox Festival at Rouken Glen. Keep safe everyone and watch our Facebook feed for future events.

Meeting on the 22nd of March at the 13 Maidens Tree Circle at 12 noon for Ceremony at 1pm.

You are all welcome to join in with the Druids of Caledon for their Public Festival of the Spring Equinox at Rouken Glen Country Park Glasgow.

Everyone welcome as it’s a free open circle with like minded people, meeting old friends and making new ones. This is an outside Ceremony so dress for the weather.

At the heart of Druidism lies a love of Nature and of her changing faces as the seasons turn. Eight times a year, once every six weeks or so, Druids participate in a celebration that expresses this love. These seasonal festivals can be large public events with many people gathering at sacred sites, such as Stonehenge, Avebury, or Glastonbury in England, or at the other extreme, they can be very private events celebrated by a single Druid in their garden or living room, or by a small group of Druids and friends who have gathered together in a park or garden. The DOC will be at Rouken Glen up by the Waterfall and Pond.

Teas and drinks can be got afterwards at the Pond Café. If weather looks bad please please try message for any changes.
