About Ramble and Read

Walking and reading are activities that many of us enjoy and both bring a wonderful sense of wellbeing.

Join the ramble and read group for a gentle 30 minute health walk along pathways and pavements within Newton Mearns. Then relax and refresh, in Newton Mearns Library, over a nice hot cuppa. Have a chat in the book café facilitated by a member of library staff, introducing some wonderful books, poems or articles. You do not have to read any books in advance and we welcome everyone to come along and get inspired.

Ramble & Read sessions are open to EVERYONE and are FREE. Sessions will run fortnightly from Wednesday 5th February – 15th April 2020 at 10am.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Ramble and Read are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment. All information (whether in text or photographs) is given in good faith but should not be relied upon as being a statement of representation or fact.
