Calling all households and businesses in the Netherlee and Stamperland area!
Join us for a bit of community creativity this Autumn in celebration of Harvest by designing and displaying your very own scarecrow. Let's create the most wonderful Scarecrow Trail for all to marvel at from the w/c 28th September.
It's free to enter and there will be a prize for the most outstanding scarecrows from a household and business. We will also be having a 'Find the Knitted Scarecrow' event where you can solve the clues to find the scarecrows knitted by your community.
All you have to do is email or message us your address and we'll put you on the Scarecrow Map, wooohoo!
This event is being organised by Netherlee Primary & PTA and will hopefully be the first of many to come. We will be running a crowdfunding page if you wish to donate to the school and a charity nominated by the children of Netherlee Primary, details to follow.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Scarecrow Trail are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment. All information (whether in text or photographs) is given in good faith but should not be relied upon as being a statement of representation or fact.
Whether you're preparing to start a new community group or are running a registered charity, VAER can help you achieve your goals! Join them for their Organisational Support drop in session!
