I Love Clarkston and Carolside PTA are working together on the I Love Clarkston Scarecrow Trail, with a view to raising funds to install more community defibrillators to ensure anyone in need has access to one quickly.
We are asking everyone in the community to design, build and display a Scarecrow in their garden, window or business from October 16-30. Each entrant will be supplied with a poster to display alongside their creation - and that poster will also include a QR code which will take you to our voting platform. For every £1 donated to the cause with the name of a scarecrow will be counted as one vote - and the two scarecrows with the most votes at the end of the trail will win themselves a £100 voucher!
To register your scarecrow, please fill in this short form here: bit.ly/ClarkstonScarecrowRegistration. Each scarecrow will be displayed on our interactive map, meaning members of the public can enjoy seeing how many of the scarecrows they can find across the town!
Carolside PTA have already done a fantastic job of raising enough money to install one of these lifesaving defibrillators and we hope to be able to raise enough to install at least one more. You can view and donate to their GoFundMe page here: gofund.me/327d9683
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
