Ardkinglas house is an architectural gem and provides a very special setting for weddings, family parties and other events. For holidaymakers there is a self catering apartment within the ground floor. The Woodland Garden is open all the year round with an outstanding collection of plants and trees, including the "Mightiest Conifer in Europe".
Woodland Garden & The Gruffalo Trail
Walk in the Woodland Gardens all the year round. Admission Fee £5 per adult, £2 per child (4-16 years) 3 & under free, £15 per family 2 adults plus children £9 single parent plus children, annual season ticket £20, group rates available. Dogs on leads are welcome. Open dawn to dusk.
Some fairies & elfs have decided to make there homes right here at our woodland garden, come and visit them.
The Gruffalo Trail uses boards showing selected extracts from the Scots version of the famous book to link the story to the setting of this special corner of the Woodland Garden.
Self-catering
We offer two contrasting holiday lets. Glen Fyne Cottage is surrounded by high hills and wild nature. The Butler’s Quarters is within the ground floor of Ardkinglas House.
