On the 1st April, our water sports and bike hire comes to Loch Lomond Shores with a range of activities and hire options, including pedal boats, bikes, kayaks, SUP’s. Speedboat tours, banana boat rides or a hiring a fishing boat are also even available from Loch Lomond Leisure.
Treezone will be open daily with their aerial adventure course and The Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre will be hosting regular daily flying shows.
To kick off this year’s festivals we’ve got Springfest on the 2nd and 3rd of April Springfest returns with live entertainment, a whole host of street food, bar area, chef demos, market stalls, kids entertainment and whisky & gin tastings and offers a great day out for everyone.
And from the 9th to 18th April we’ll be welcoming The Emporium of Forgotten Dreams and their magical outdoor, street theatre production of The Fairie King and The Last Highlander. The production takes visitors on a woodland storytelling adventure and is great for all the family. You can book tickets at www.eventbrite.co.uk
From Saturday the 2nd The Loch Lomond Express will be back for short rides around the site and our adventure golf will be open daily. We’ll also have some children’s rides including bungee trampolines, Race’O’Rama, an inflatable slide and a toy set ride for smaller children.
On Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th, look out for appearances by The Easter Bunny who will be handing out FREE Easter eggs to some lucky children over the two days.
On the 17th our regular outdoor market returns for another opportunity to shop great artisan gifts, crafts and produce.
Throughout the school holidays (2nd April to 18th) we’ll have a great range of street food takeaway to choose from as well as our cafes - Café Zest and Caffe at the Shores – while our Churros cabin will be open daily offering freshly made churros and delicious donuts as well as hot and soft drinks.
Our playpark has now been fully refurbished` and is looking great. With plenty of space for children to run around and bark landscaping for softer landings, it’s got swings, climbing equipment and much more to keep kids entertained.
And remember that SEA LIFE Loch Lomond, with its 7 zones, amazing ocean tunnel and over 1500 sea creatures, is an amazing adventure that the whole family can enjoy, regardless of the weather!
