Strictly Come Dancing judge and national treasure Craig Revel Horwood will bring Revelations – Songs Boys Don’t Sing to the stage, with dance, music, comedy and tales from the nation’s best-loved dance show. Ocean Colour Scene guitarist Steve Craddock will grace the stage as part of his debut tour, playing and singing hits from the Ocean Colour Scene songbook.
Eastwood Theatre will welcome some of the UK’s most established and celebrated comedians this year, including Ed Byrne, Milton Jones and social media star Stuart Mitchell. Bafta award winner Karen Dunbar, one of Scotland’s best-known comedy actors, brings a brand-new show this year, with further comedy lined up from Jack Docherty in The Chief – No Apologies and dynamic comedy duo Grado and Purdo, who bring their Shellsuits and Spandex show to the theatre in May.
Sports stars will also take to the stage, including one of the most accomplished exploratory mountaineers of all time, Simon Yates; leading British mountaineer, Adriana Brownlee; and ultrarunner, coach and author, Damian Hall. You can join An Evening with Celtic Legends, bringing together fan favourites including Charlie Mulgrew, Frank McAvennie and Johan Mjallby to give an unforgettable night of football nostalgia, behind-the-scenes stories and exclusive insights.
Kids’ entertainment will be presented with The McDougalls' Winter Wonderland, singer and songwriter, Nick Cope, who featured on CBeebies, will bring his Family Show to the theatre in April. The Three Little Pigs, The Bubble Show and A Big Egg also feature as part of the kids’ entertainment, as well as Big Top Brass, a carnival of musical acrobatics with magic.
Live music tribute acts include Hometown Glory – Adele by Candlelight – a candlelit concert of Adele’s songbook, the Rod Stewart Songbook, Que Sera Sera, featuring the greatest hits of Doris Day, Abbamania and The Johnny Cash Roadshow.
The cast of The West End Tenors embark on their first UK tour which comes to the theatre next month, while the Scottish National Youth and Jazz Orchestra have Big Band Jazz in the Afternoon on the line up. The Show Must Go On, a night filled with spectacular songs performed by stars from the Scottish Variety Entertainment Circuit, will also take to the stage. Further musical performances are lined up including The Ultimate Summer Shindig, Legends of the 60s and a Night to Remember: Motown Show.
A huge variety of cinema screenings are also lined up to be enjoyed at Eastwood Theatre and Eastwood House, including National Theatre Live performances, Exhibitions on screen, Royal Ballet and Opera performances, children’s films and much more.
