Barrhead Army Cadets are recruiting.

We're looking for boys and girls aged 12 - 18 (must be 1st yr in High School at least)to join us for fun and adventure.

Activities include:
1st Aid training (Heartstart, Youth 1st Aid and 1st Aid at work certificates all taught).
Map and compass.
Duke of Edinburgh (Bronze, Silver and Gold levels).
Expedition.
Drill.
Military knowledge.
Shooting (in a controlled environment after training by qualified adult instructors).
Adventure training (climbing, canoeing, mountain biking, archery).
Sports (athletics, football, rugby, cross country, hockey and tug of war)
CVQO, SVQ and BTEC qualifications are also achievable.

4 weekend camps and one 2 week annual camp

We parade every Thursday night 7pm - 9pm.

64 Paisley Rd, Barrhead next to the United Services Club.
