Our reputation as home to Scotland’s most successful events including the Royal Highland Show, Gardening Scotland and AgriScot boasts our capabilities, versatility and position to deliver significant economic benefits to Scotland.
In 2010 the Royal Highland Centre hosted over 240 events and welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors. We contribute approximately £250 million annually to the Scottish economy including £100 million to Edinburgh and the Lothians.
And, we hope to enhance our contribution to the economy with a £30 million development of the Centre which will take place over the next 20 years.
Based at Ingliston on the outskirts of Edinburgh we are within a one hour drive of 60 per cent of the Scottish population.
The Royal Highland Centre is the trading name of a fully owned subsidiary of the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS) registered as Highland Centre Ltd. It is fully committed to its sustainability policy and health and safety policy, ensuring that everyone who visits the Centre can do so safely.
