Locals are being asked to nominate Busby Glen Park, in a national competition to find Britain’s most loved field.

The competition run by ‘Fields in Trust’ is asking people to show their appreciation for the parks at the heart of their local community.
To vote for Busby Glen Park go to http://tinyurl.com/love-busby-glen before 19 October.
Busby Glen is located just off the East Kilbride road near Busby Station and was recently chosen as a ‘Field in Trust’ in the 2012 Queen Elizabeth Fields Challenge.
The Park is one of hundreds across the UK protected for future generations as a legacy of HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the 2012 Olympic Games and the forthcoming 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
The Queen Elizabeth Fields Challenge operated by Fields in Trust, is a new campaign to protect outdoor recreational spaces in communities all across the country as a permanent living legacy of these great events.
