The Boathouse cafe in Rouken Glen officially opened its doors to the public on Monday 1 July!

East Renfrewshire council leader Councillor Jim Fletcher was one of the first customers to sample a cup of coffee served up by new tenent Colin Hopkins.
Giffnock resident Colin (45) has over 25 years experience in the catering industry.
Councillor Fletcher said: “Its good to see a cafe at the pondside again and judging by the number of people enjoying a cup of coffee and having a bite to eat when I popped in to welcome Colin and his staff I am sure the new business will be a success and will attract people to the park."
The cafe will open seven days a week from 9am until 8pm.
