Funding was also received from Scottish Water to invest specifically in Busby Glen following their completed sewer upgrade in the park.

Environment and Housing Convener, Councillor Danny Devlin, said: “East Renfrewshire has some great parks throughout the authority, so I’m delighted to see this programme of works complete and the wide range of upgrades which have taken place from Netherlee to Neilston and beyond. As we head into the warmer months, having safe, accessible and fun spaces for young people to enjoy outdoors is really important and these works are testament to our commitment to providing residents with high-quality facilities. I’d like to thank our employees and contractors for the work undertaken and look forward to seeing our communities enjoy these spaces.”
