Singer Peter Cox set for intimate show at Eastwood Theatre

Best known as the lead vocalist of pop duo Go West, Peter Cox will look back on his stellar career that spanned four decades at the Eastwood Theatre show, which will take place on 16 October 2026.
Speaking of the UK tour announcement, Peter said: “This will be a very special tour giving people the chance to hear some stories from my career, and hear the songs for which Go West is famous. I can’t wait to get back on the road and visit all corners of the UK.”
Peter will revisit Go West’s hits, including classics such as We Close Our Eyes, Call Me, Faithful and King of Wishful Thinking, which featured on the Julia Roberts hit film, Pretty Women. His music has also featured in Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky IV soundtrack and 90s film Corrina Corrina. The duo scored a double-platinum debut album and teamed up with Spandau Ballet’s Tony Hadley.
Anthony McReavy from East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure said: “We look forward to welcoming Peter Cox to Eastwood Theatre as he looks back on a hugely successful music career, revisits his hits and discusses recent accolades, from selling out London Palladium to featuring at multiple Rewind festivals.
“Next year is shaping up to be another successful one for Eastwood Theatre, as we continue to attract well-known names, touring shows and big performances to our theatre.
“We will welcome Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood in April, while Ocean Colour Scene guitarist Steve Cradock joins us for two shows in May. We have a string of comedy and music shows and cinema screenings to look forward to, with further shows and acts to be announced over the coming months. We can’t wait to welcome our audiences along in 2026.”
