Barrhead Artists was formed in 1993. We meet every Thursday evening in the Auchenback Resource Centre, 64 Aurs Drive between 6.30 and 9.30pm from September to June. Our annual exhibition is held in June.

Our philosophy is that art is for everyone and although not a teaching club we are open to beginners. Club members are willing to share their knowledge and expertise freely.

A programme of events which runs throughout the session includes workshops, still life evenings and outings to local beauty spots for drawing and painting. Well-known professional artists such as Philip Raskin have given demonstrations of their skill and techniques.

New members are welcome!
