Learn how to arrange seasonal and natural looking blooms in a large glass pickle jar to take home.
Emma will talk you through a variety of ways to fill a large vase, such as hand-tying or arranging your blooms straight into the vessel. We’ll explore the effects that can be achieved using different heights and type of material to create focal points and transitions. We’ll earn a little about and what each of the flowers are, and tips for preparing and caring for them to keep them in top condition. Emma will demonstrate front facing and all round arrangement options and talk you through her process of choosing colours, and effective combinations of flowers.
At the end of an informal and relaxed day of floristry you’ll leave not only with your beautiful finished vase arrangement, but also with the knowledge and confidence to create more floral designs at home. Floristry is a great creative outlet, and doesn’t have to be expensive. Once you know the basics you can pick blooms from your own garden or from your local florist and combine with in a large vase to wow your guests at your next dinner party or special event.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
