“Close your eyes when Michelle Willis sings and you might feel like you are at the Brill Building in the early ’60s when Carole King ran the show with her prolific pop melodies. Yet this singer-songwriter also has a modern flair that plays along with the spirited jams of Lake Street Dive and the hearty roots of Tedeschi Trucks Band.” — Glide Magazine
British-born, Canadian-raised Michelle Willis is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who amassed an impressive resume touring and recording with legendary songwriters David Crosby and Michael McDonald, and jazz / funk / pop trailblazers Becca Stevens and Snarky Puppy, among others.
“One of my favourite singers ever” – David Crosby
Michelle will be joined by Mario Caribé on bass and Calum McIntyre on drums and percussion.
