STA Level 2 Award in Swimming Teaching

East Renfrewshire Culture & Leisure now have dates for their STA Level 2 Award in Swimming Teaching taking place in Barrhead Foundry.

Friday 28, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 April and Friday 5, Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 May.
The times on the Fridays will be from 5pm to 7.45pm and on the Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5pm (2pm to 4pm in the water/on poolside). If we get through the course sooner, we may be able to cut the hours.

The price is £220 which takes in the Swimming Teachers Award Course and the Safety Award for Teachers Element. In order to be eligible to take part on this course the pre requisites are as follows:-

Become an STA Member (details of what this provides online) - £47.00 at www.sta.co.uk/membership (evidence to be provided once done).

Do the Online Safety Award for Teachers (very easy multiple choice paper) - £25.00 at www.sta.co.uk, then click on the qualifications tab at the top of the website, then click online learning, then click safeguarding programme. This will take you to the course (evidence to be provided once done [a certificate will be generated online for you to print].
