Head down to your local Dobbies on Friday 29th September, across all stores, where we'll be hosting a range of all-day fundraising events within our restaurants and foodhalls all in the name of a good cause. We'll also be donating 50p from every coffee sold from 9am-12noon on the day to Macmillan Cancer Support.
The charity offers essential support and advice for cancer sufferers from initial diagnosis through to treatment and aftercare with the aim to make sure no one faces cancer alone. Macmillan empowers sufferers to take control of their life as well as supporting their family members and carers. Funds go towards specialist services and cancer care centres to provide the expert care that cancer patients require, which is why we're keen to do our part at Dobbies.
Although the official coffee morning takes place on Friday 29th September, Dobbies are fundraising from the 8th-29th September at your local garden centre with our cupcakes. We'll be offering freshly baked iced cupcakes with a Macmillan twist to enjoy in our restaurants or to take away from our foodhall for just £1.45 per cupcake. £1 of each cupcake sold and 50p of each coffee sold will go straight to Macmillan Cancer Support, meaning there really is such a thing as a guilt-free cupcake.
Pop into your local Dobbies between the 8th and 29th September to show your support. Find your nearest store, www.dobbies.com.
