Quarriers held a competition to select the design for this year’s card and could not decide between the entries from Val and Kevin who are both supported by Quarriers Adult Services.
The leading social care charity decided to create two different cards which will help to raise vital funds for the organisation.
Val’s card features a cheery snowman and she is known for her creativity and enjoys the artistic activities arranged by Quarriers. Pre-COVID she was part of a crochet group and was also a keen participant in all the arts and crafts at her Thursday Friendship Club.
Her love of Christmas inspired the design of her card as whenever it snows she loves nothing more than building snowmen with the Quarriers team.
Kevin enjoys painting and drawing and he designed a range of different cards with his winning entry capturing the festive spirit with a Christmas tree.
Louise Robertson, Head of Income Generation, said: “We are always proud to feature the work of people we support on our Christmas cards and both Val and Kevin are very worthy winners.
“After a challenging year, people may appreciate receiving a card more than ever and this is the ideal way to spread some Christmas cheer while supporting our vital work.”
The cards are now available priced at £3.50 for a pack of ten from the Quarriers online Christmas Shop at www.freewebstore.org/quarriers/
