With the first edition of the new exclusive outdoor glamping festival confirmed to take place in a stunning and secluded countryside site near Inverness from Friday 28 – Monday 31 May 2021, organisers have added another seven dates between May and September.
Capers in Cannich will run on the weekends of 11 - 14 June, 9 - 12 July, 23 - 26 July, 6 - 9 August, 27 - 30 August, 3 - 6 September and 17 - 20 September 2021.
Glamping camping tickets are available to purchase for the full weekend, alongside family weekend glamping tickets that allow access for two adults and up to three children under the age of 18. A three-day weekend ticket that doesn't include camping and a day ticket that allows access for the Saturday only of each event are also now available to buy.
With the likes of Inverness outfit Hò-rò, festival favourites Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5 announced to play the opening weekend, the line-up for the second edition of the festival in June has also now been revealed.
Much-loved Lewis band Face the West, Mark Sharp & the Bicycle Thieves – who recently supported Lewis Capaldi at Aberdeen’s P&J, Scotland's ska juggernaut Bombskare and Edinburgh indie band Wrest are among the exciting Scottish acts that will take to the Highland festival stage in June.
Capers in Cannich Director Karl Falconer said: “We’re very excited to announce that Capers in Cannich will run for additional seven dates across the summer, allowing as many people as possible to enjoy the exclusive, safe festival environment we’ve created. We’re also delighted to now be able to welcome families to this special event alongside guests looking to join us for the day.
“A perfect staycation, our event will provide people with a fun-filled and relaxing glamping experience among truly beautiful countryside surroundings and away from big crowds. With 8 dates in total from now until September, it’s going to be an action-packed summer and our team cannot wait to welcome people to the site.”
Each social bubble with a weekend ticket for Capers in Cannich will have their own luxury bell tent and private garden space to experience the festival from alongside a corresponding private and safe space in front of the outdoor stage and will receive a welcome pack on arrival, complete with face masks, hand sanitiser, free bottled water and a wealth of information about keeping safe at the event.
An app-based table bar service will mean festival-goers order their food and drink on their phone and it is delivered to them directly. Glampers will be in for a treat, with everything from breakfast, dinner and outdoor BBQs to picnic hampers and afternoon tea on the menu.
Additional safety measures include a drop-off service for any forgotten essential supplies required from the local shop, individual toilets and showers, socially distanced car parking bays and thorough and regular cleaning across the site.
Tickets for all weekends of Capers in Cannich are on sale now at www.capersincannich.co.uk, with the line-ups for remaining dates still to be announced.
