We're holding a jobs fair at the Foundry in Barrhead, where a wide range of local employers will have recruitment opportunities available.
Employers signed up so far cover a variety of industries including construction, retail, home care and hospitality and there will be seasonal, contract and permanent job vacancies.
The fair is taking place on Thursday 3 November from 1pm until 4pm on the first floor of the Barrhead Foundry. As well as employers, Work EastRen, our employability service who are hosting the event, will have staff available to speak to about jobs advice, including tips for interviews, help with CVs and training opportunities.
Confirmed employers include JD Sports (Silverburn and Braehead), McDonalds, B&M, George Leslie, AC Whyte, City Gate Construction, Heron Bros, Geoamey, East Renfrewshire Council Facilities Management, Cosgrove Care, HRM Homecare, The Richmond Fellowship, Tailor Maid, Partners for Inclusion and RAMH.
In preparation for this event, Work EastRen is running some CV and job application workshops for jobseekers to prepare them for the jobs fair. These will take place on Tuesday 25 October (10am-12pm) and Thursday 27 October (2pm-4pm) in their Lowndes Street office, Barrhead.
