Our Onshore Windfarm is the UK's largest, and its 215 turbines generate enough power for up to 350,000 homes.
Join some of the team from Scottish Power as we celebrate why Whitelee is ‘More than a windfarm’. With more than 130 kilometres of trails to explore, on foot, by cycle or by horse, Whitelee is a great destination for a day out with the whole family.
What's on:
• Get hands on with exhibits from Glasgow Science Centre
• Try some piping and drumming with the Scottish Power Pipe Band
• Learn about energy with Dumfries House
• Animal petting zoo and meet the birds with Owl Magic
• Clydesdale horse & carriage rides
• A range of delicious street food
• East Renfrewshire Police will be offering a free bike marking service
And lots more!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
