About Druids of Caledon Public Festival of Yule Ceremony

You are all welcome to come and join in with the DOC in their Public Festival Ceremony of Yule, the Winter Solstice—Alban Arthan.

Meeting at Rouken Glen Country Park Pavilion, by the children’s play park, at 11.30/12 noon to meet and greet and a warm welcome. With the Yule Ceremony at 1pm.

Come and enjoy a lovely chat and time with like-minded people making new friends and reuniting with old ones.

The Winter Solstice is a very special time of the year, for the land and the people. A time of rebirth of the Sun Child, the resurrection of the Big Sun, and a time of celebrations and family reunions.

All over the land many will be celebrating at the Sacred sites and Stone Circles, but as we know anywhere on the Earth is Sacred and on your festival celebrations, you too, will be celebrating on a Sacred part of the Earth Mother.

Winter is upon us and the nights are dark and cold, but let’s use this time to let go of the old and look forward to the new, for our thoughts and dreams to manifest with the New Sun, at this the beginning of a new journey in the cycle of life.

As the Sun Child begins his long journey to its zenith next June in the Summer Solstice, we too begin a new journey in our lives, so let us begin it here at our Rite of Yule. Let’s carry our feelings of joy and happiness, of healing and love out into the World, share the pleasure of giving to others, watch the smiles on the children’s faces. As Druids, we know what we give out we shall receive or what you sow, you shall reap, so I am sure we all shall have a wonderful Festive time. Bright Blessings.

Have a safe and wonderful magical Festival, where ever you are standing on the Earth Mother and rejoice with the gathering of families and friends on a very special time of the Wheel of the Year in the Seasons full of real magic and the glories of creation and Rebirth of the Mabon. The Child of Light.

Blessed be.
