A leisurely walk round the market provides many opportunities to taste produce and discuss the characteristics and uniqueness of each offering.

Seasonal specialities include; amazingly flavoursome tomatoes of several varieties; Scottish, UK award winning, cheeses from just 9 miles away, chutneys and warming soup, hand made confectionery, and farmhouse produced ice-cream, olive-based appetizers and snacks, flavoursome vegetarian and gluten free produce, Hebridean whisky liqueurs, local award winning beers from a nearby micro brewery and healthy raspberry and blueberry drinks. To complete the family purchases, natural hand made soaps are on offer, as well as a wide range of locally grown plants, which add more than a splash of colour to the scene.
