About Dolly Parton Saved My Life
Dolly Parton Saved My Life is a new play by Dundee theatre company, Elfie Picket Theatre.
An exciting, new dramatic comedy with live music. Bonnie, a young, Dundonian teacher, one day discovers a box of forgotten memories left behind by her late grandmother. Suddenly her whole world is flipped by the revelations she uncovers. Driven by her desire to uncover the questions of her past, Bonnie must decide between maintaining her domestic life and her forgotten musical aspirations. A play about family, women’s relationships and Dolly Parton! Grab your cowboy hats and join award winning theatre company, Elfie Picket Theatre as they bring this Creative Scotland funded project to East Renfrewshire this October.
This free event includes the play, live music, food and sing-a-longs.
