Spring Foraging Walk

About Spring Foraging Walk

Add something a little wild to your dinner! On this walk you will learn how to identify and make use of the seasonal wild plants growing in your local area.

Join us for a walk in the varied habitats of Rouken Glen. We will be focusing on the plants that offer us the new Spring growth in the forms of fresh leaves and shoots.

We will go for a short wander to see what edible plants we can meet. I will point out the various features for each plant to help with identification, give tips and advice on foraging safely and sustainably. Participants are welcome to taste and collect in moderation and according to the plant availability on site. You will be sent a list of the plants we met after the course.

At the end of the walk we will sit and make a simple dish together that we can share!
