About Sister Act: The Musical

Deloris Van Cartier, a famous disco singer, is put into witness protection in a convent. While struggling through the restrictions of her new lifestyle, she finds comfort in the church’s choir and while there ends up inspiring the church and community.

Music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater, Book by Cheri Steinkellner & Bill Steinkellner. Additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane. Based on Touchstone Motion Pictures ‘Sister Act’ written by Joseph Howard. This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International. All authorised performance materials are also supplied by MTI (www.mtishows.co.uk)
