In the cobbled courtyard, magic students receive the day's lesson plan. The first lesson is finding clues hidden around the garden. Witches have cleverly hidden the clues in the garden. Can you piece together the clues? Your magic word will be formed from the letters in each clue.
In the second lesson, we'll explore potions. Your potion supplies will include a small cauldron. For the spell to work, you will need your magic word.
Upon completion, you will receive your magic school certificate & treat.
Our café will be open serving light lunches, hot chocolates and lots of delicious treats to fuel your day.
Note for parents
Younger children are the target audience for this event. Halloween props and decorations will be present, but nothing too frightening. At this time of year, the garden can get muddy and wet, so wellies/winter shoes are a good idea.
* Admission pricing
Members will only need to purchase event tickets for children participating.
Non-members will pay admission to the garden plus event ticket for the children.
If you are not a member you can buy a child ticket and sign up at the property on arrival to save on the admission fee. Alternatively contact jgilliland@nts.org.uk for more information.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
