Are you mad about maps and plans?
Join our tutor as he takes you on a journey through the history of Scottish maps and helps you explore how you can use them to help you with your family and local history. From about 1850 the Ordnance Survey began publishing detailed maps and plans of Scotland and he will explain how this vast collection and other maps can be accessed at libraries, archives and online.
The class will allow you to discover the fascinating cartographic heritage of Scotland.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
