Alternative Pathways: My Journey from Apprentice to College Lecturer

About Alternative Pathways: My Journey from Apprentice to College Lecturer

Neil Porter will discuss his inspirational journey, the positive impact a career in the trades had on him as a dyslexic apprentice panel beater, and how he overcame his dyslexia challenges as a college lecturer.

Neil’s story will highlight that there are alternatives to college and university for school leavers – and that there many more opportunities out there than you might think.

Neil is an engaging speaker who will appeal to all ages as well as parents/carers and professionals who would like to learn more about apprenticeships.
