The month of March commemorates women's history and Dean Castle is ready to celebrate its own 'herstory' with this guided tour.

Dean Castle Women’s History Tour

About Dean Castle Women’s History Tour

We will be recognizing the remarkable contributions of women to Scottish history by providing a specialised tour that explores the legacies of the women who lived and worked within its walls. This will include talks on the likes of labour, rebels, royals, and entertainment - from the medieval to the modern. The tour will take approximately 90 minutes and will include exploring some behind the scenes areas of the Castle weather permitting, and focus on honouring our own unique Scottish women’s history.
