About Meditation for Beginners - The Fundamentals
The Fundamentals are monthly sessions suited to -
- the beginner they will provide a good understanding of meditation and include many practices to get started and build a regular practice
- those returning to a regular practice and looking for new tools and techniques
The Fundamentals will explore:
Potential barriers to meditation / look at ways to overcome
Practice how to sit comfortably so that our focus can stay with the peaceful meditation practice
Ways to quieten a chatty monkey mind
Use breathwork practices to assist in focussing our attention on the present moment
Relaxation techniques will be practiced to help in addressing tiredness first
Concentration practices
Meditation practices that will build confidence in our own ability to enter a meditation, stay in a meditation feeling calm and peaceful, exit a meditation with ease
